MIFARE® DESFire® EV3 Blank White PVC Cards

MIFARE DESFire EV3 Blank White PVC Cards are ideal for a range of applications including advanced public transportation, access management, closed-loop micropayment, university and student ID and loyalty programs.

These MIFARE DESFire EV3 cards are constructed according to the ISO standards: CR80 in size (standard credit card size) with a thickness of 820 micron.

They contain a premium gloss finish to enable easy personalisation if you are planning to over-print the card with a desktop card printer. Operating at a frequency of 13.56MHz, Desfire EV3 is based on open global standards for both air interface and cryptographic methods. They have read/write capabilities and are compliant with ISO/IEC 14443 type A 1-4 and ISO/IEC 7816 compliant. They benefit from a unique 7 byte UID and on-chip backup management system that can hold unlimited applications (as the memory file supports) and 32 files per application.

The key advantages are that the chip can hold as many different application (only limited by memory space) and more flexible key management as new applications can be loaded after the card has been issued in the field. For greater interoperability, the purse can also be shared between applications. You will also be impressed with an increased operating distance compared to the EV1 & EV2 versions due to its lower power consumption. Faster processing of data can also be achieved with the MIFARE DESFire EV3 transfer rates up to 848 Kbit/s.
